Madden Girl by Steve Madden chunky heels | Marshalls: $25

Hello, everyone! First off, Happy Memorial Day! Thanks to all the soldiers who have fought for our country and made it the amazing place that it is today! I'm sure all of you are at barbecues or at the beach, but I've just come back from a weekend by the lake with my family. I spent my weekend reading, sleeping, munching on hotdogs and corn, and playing cards with my family. What better way to spend this beautiful weekend! Here in Massachusetts, the weather was absolutely beautiful! It was super sunny and gorgeous out. All in all, I had an awesome weekend.

Today on my way home from the lake, we stopped by Marshalls because I was having shopping withdrawals being in the woods all weekend. I've been looking for graduation shoes forever now and can't seem to find the right ones at the right price. I was lucky enough to come across these amazing Madden Girl by Steve Madden chunky heels that I have absolutely fallen in love with. They're almost more of a decoration in my room right now until graduation. And the best part is, they were the LAST ones.. in my size.. on sale.. for only $25!! That was clearly meant to be. Don't you just love when that happens!?

Dress: American Eagle Outfitters | Ring: LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls | Bracelet: a gift from my Aunt | Shoes: Walmart (I'm such a bargain shopper)

I'm absolutely in love with this dress. It's so perfect to go with the tribal trends that have been going on lately. It also fits in perfectly with everyone and their cutouts. This one doesn't show off too much skin, but it's still adorable. I've also decided that I'm going to wear my new Lauren Conrad ring everyday for the rest of forever. It's adorable and it does with everything. You would never believe that I only paid 4.50$ for it at Kohls. Clearance!

P.S. Ignore my stupid hair!

The Highs & the Lows

May 23, 2012 —

Tank: Land's End for Sears, Belt: Old Navy, Skirt: LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls, Sandals: American Eagle Outfitters, Necklace: Forever 21

I'm absolutely in love with this outfit. Probably one of my favorites. It's super bright, but very bohemian at the same time. The high-low skirt is definitely my favorite trend right now along with the bright neons. This outfit is very fun, but simple and sophisticated at the same time.

Today was my first day of finals! I had two art finals (super easy) and got them done then spent time with my friends for our last couple art classes. I seriously just cannot believe that senior year is basically over. College is approaching fast and it's scary, but also really exciting at the same time. Hopefully I'll meet some amazing people and make lifelong friendships.

Oh, well! Off to work I go!

Trending Topics: Patterned Bottoms

May 20, 2012 —

Seen everywhere from celebrities, the runway, and the streets, printed bottoms are everywhere. A lot of people might think that patterned bottoms can be a little out there, but there's some surprisingly low-key ways to wear them.

As you can see above, Shenae Grimes (left) & Iggy Azalea (right) have perfected this trend. Shenae is looking very rocker-chic with her floral capris and a leather top. She dresses these pants down with a plai-colored top, but still keeps it interesting with the texture of the leather. And as for Iggy, she's definitely hit a home run with this outfit. It's super unique, but also very put together at the same time. The chiffon on the top adds texture to keep it fun and cool, while her pants are wild, but she doesn't look messy at all. She's slicked back her hair to keep a polished look & topped it all off with red lip color for the classy look.

Above I've put together an outfit that would be perfect to rock the printed pants. The white top created a polished and simple look to balance with the wild pants. Also, the gold on the sandals and the gold on the necklace created a more fancy, put-together look. A little bright, coral nail color and you're set to go.

You'll be "Under The Influence"

May 16, 2012 —

Possibly one of the most exciting moments ever right now.. Just purchased my tickets for Wiz Khalifa and  Mac Miller (more importantly.. Mac Miller)'s "Under the Influence" Tour. Not only do I have tickets for this show, but my tickets are GENERAL ADMISSION PIT VIP SEATS! Holy moly. I'll be attending the show at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA on August 1st. If I touch Mac Miller.. you may never hear from me again because I'll just die!

My boyfriend and I purchased VIP tickets. That's a general admission ticket, a tee-shirt, a limited edition tour poster, a VIP lanyard, an on-site VIP host, early entry into the venue, a special commemorative ticket, and some mystery exclusive tour item! All for $150. I suggest you go get tickets ASAP!

Saturday Morning Sale

This weekend my family and I got together and had a pretty huge tag sale. I cleaned out my closet and sold tons and tons of old clothes. I sold a lot of my clothes, but I still have TONS more. If you're interested in buying any, I have pictures that I can send you of the stuff I have left. Everything will be super cheap.

About half of the clothes, hahaha.

Some dresses
Some of my Grandma's jewelry! So vintage.

And of course, the most adorable doggy on the planet
